synopsis
Early 20th century, along with technological advancements, scientists, were able to develop sophisticated magic. The combination science and sorcery was Makinot, circuit made from spells that were put into an objects to bring them to life and even gain a personality. It was developed as a military weapon and has now spread throughout the world. The shadow of World War glimpses at the Machinart civilization while proud of its prosperity, the apex of the puppeteer, a battle to determine the "Wiseman" throne within the "Night Party" which was held once every four years.
A puppeteer named Raishin Akabane came to study from Japan. He has a puppet named Yaya, a true work of a puppet maker, Karyusai Shouko. For him to join the "Night Party", he has to go to the city of Machinart Liverpool of the British Empire where it will be held in the "Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart". Raishin entered Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart not to get the title of "Wiseman" but instead his real purpose was to take revenge on Tenzen Akabane, his elder brother, a genius of extraordinary, who killed his own family.
And the shadow of the World War, flickering, while caught up in the intrigue over the (Machine-Doll). Raishin will only join in "Night Party" with Yaya for revenge.
